New PG&E Smart Meters Spark Complaints - Watch Online Videos - Apnicommunity.com
It seems Texans and Californians are more alike than it was thought. It does not matters "where" in the country you live, the SmartMeter creates the same amount of havoc and outrage. The backers of the SmartMeter in California are saying the same thing there as here. PG&E and OnCor have their story down. How can OnCor say there is no problem when they have been fighting the battle for two years in California? Oh, I forgot they say there is no problem, just that all these people are wrong!

How can they say that there is no problem? Going back over the bills for our home I found that on the November bill there was 2 different readings. From Oct.29 to Nov.18 (20 days) 776 kWh. Then the smart meter was installed. Nov.19 to Nov.30 (11 days) it was 830 kWh. How is it that in a time frame of almost half is the usage more and not half the amount?? That would mean that we used double the electricity in that time with the smart meter. They are claiming it is because of the cold but that claim is for the Dec-Jan month, not Nov. Still confused here.
